NSCI 550 Statistical Analysis for Life Sciences

The course covers advanced statistical analysis for life sciences applications. The topics include probability, expectation, random variables, specific distributions (binomial, hypergeometric, and normal). Data displays and graphics are covered for discrete and continuous random variables.  Moreover, the students use real-life data sets in describing and making inferences utilizing techniques of estimation, hypothesis testing, and regression.
