Program Overview

The Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Data Science prepares students for advanced competitive emerging data science workforce. The Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Science prepares students for research industries and doctoral studies.

Both M.A. and M.S. Data Science

The students will be able to:

• Design and implement advanced algorithms for problem solving.
• Apply advanced machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, and clustering problems.
• Create and manipulate large databases for rigorous data analytics.
• Apply advanced statistical analysis on real-life datasets.

M.S. Data Science (thesis-based) only:

• The students will be able to formulate and conduct independent research.
