Non-Degree Seeking Students
Non-degree seeking students are admitted as non- matriculating students. Such students are often part-time and taking courses for general interest. Ordinarily such students are ineligible for University financial aid and are not permitted to enroll for more than twelve semester hours of coursework in a given semester. Students who hold non- degree seeking status may, however, apply for regular degree candidacy by petition to the Director of Recruitment and Admission. Credits successfully completed with a grade of "C" or better while in non-degree seeking status may then be accepted toward the requirements for graduation.
