BIOL 270 MICROBIOLOGY

This course is designed to assist students as they seek to understand the relevance of microorganisms in human and plant symbiotic relationships – in disease progression and in industrial/environmental applications. Among the topics included are microbiological techniques, microbial replication, metabolism, growth, and proposed therapeutic treatment of diseases caused by microbes.

BIOL 101, 101L; CHEM 203, 233 or concurrent enrollment in the latter, permission of the Instructor.
