CSCI 280 MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS

The course focuses on developing mathematical models with the goal of building upon intuitive understanding using mathematical approaches. Topics include: basic principles of model building; probability theory and statistics; markov chains and related stochastic models; matrices and their operations; differential equation models.
