MUS 200 WORLD MUSIC
We will exam the music country by country or area by area. As we venture through the semester and listen to the digital music tracks, the student will be able to identify which part of the globe the music is associated with and be able to effectively describe the music, its meaning, and cultural significance. In this course we will operate as hybrid course partly online and also classroom. We will be utilizing canvas for assignments and announcements. Also the online portion that goes along with this course is a digital book with online quizzes and activities that will be assigned each week for each country observed.
