This course provides an overview of operations management in healthcare organizations. The operational functions of mid-level managers in healthcare organizations include work design and process engineering. The course also covers the development, planning, and analysis of healthcare operations, ergonomics and work environment issues and challenges, as well as quality improvement techniques.
