MSEL 600 Supervisory Concepts and Practices

Through a blend of theory, practice, and skill development, this course explores the supervisory concepts, practices, challenges, and limitations that affect management in today’s business environment. To operate successfully in this changing environment, organizations need supervisors with the managerial skills and creativity to turn uncertainty into opportunity, think strategically,
lead change initiatives, motivate employees, encourage a positive work environment, analyze and address the challenges of managing a diverse talented workforce, and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
