INS 102 AGENCY OPERATION & DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS

This course provides an in-depth examination of agency operations and the various distribution channels used in the insurance and financial services industries. Students will learn about the structure, function, and management of insurance agencies, including the key processes and best practices that drive successful agency operations

Expectations and goals 

The main areas of focus for this class will include the roles and responsibilities within an agency, customer relationship management, marketing strategies, regulatory compliance, and the impact of technology on agency operations and distribution. Through case studies reviews, owner/agent interviews and practical exercises, students will gain hands-on experience in developing and implementing effective distribution strategies.
By the end of this course, students will have a thorough understanding of how insurance agencies operate and the various distribution channels available.
