INS 111 THE CHANGING INSURANCE LANDSCAPE
This course examines the dynamic and evolving world of risk and insurance, focusing on how global trends and emerging risks shape the insurance services and solutions available today. Students will begin with a historical overview of the insurance industry, tracing its evolution from ancient practices to modern innovations. The course will explore how the insurance industry has adapted over the years to respond to changing risk landscapes and the diverse needs of individuals, communities, and businesses.

This is an interactive course which will challenge students to research current event and make recommendations on how the industry can continue to work closely with other sectors, groups and organizations to enhance outcomes that will respond to changing consumer needs, changing insurance regulation, privacy concerns, cost containment, innovation opportunities.
