Minor: English

Katharine A. Burnett, Ph.D., Coordinator

The minor in English emphasizes skills in research, writing, and analytical thinking. The hallmark of Fisk’s academic and scholarly excellence is the university’s long history with writing and letters in the Humanities and across disciplines, as well as its focus on cross-disciplinary dialogue as a liberal arts institution. The English minor emphasizes a broad range of literary readings and the cultivation of writing and communication skills in a variety of mediums and formats.
