Certificate in Insurance and Risk Management

The Certificate program in Insurance and Risk Management prepares students and professionals for successful careers in insurance. Insurance companies and agencies need professionals for a variety of positions, from entry-level to leadership. Fisk University’s experienced instructors and industry-specific curriculum prepare students with the knowledge and skills they need for a successful and rewarding career in all types of insurance organizations and agencies. The program also gives students entrepreneurial skills and knowledge to start and manage their own independent insurance agencies. 

Requirements

This 15-credit certificate includes 6-credits of required classes (including prerequisite classes) and 9-credits of elective courses to best match the needs of individual students. Please see below the list of required and elective courses.
